Cleansing is such a great way to reset your mind and body.  I like to do it every season to reboot my system and transition into the new season feeling healthy, vibrant and renewed.  I do mini cleanses anytime I am feeling a illness coming on or are just feeling run down in general.  This is something I also regularly do with clients to teach them how food and stress affects their body.

When you support your system to clear toxins through herbs and eating a clean diet, it clears out the harmful toxins, which in turn promotes all of the other systems in your body to run more efficiently.  Whether you have brain fog, fatigue, illness or just generally have not been feeling your best, a cleanse can bring relief and sustainable energy.  It also is a great way to reset your eating habits.  By cleaning the junk out of your diet, you retrain your body to crave the healthy nutritious food that provides the nutrients your body thrives on.

Take Charge!

You do not have to blow your healthy food plan when eating away from home.

Some Tips:

  • Plan ahead.

  • Watch portion size.

  • Know the best “eat-out” foods.

  • Include foods you love when you can.

Before you go out make sure you think ahead.

  • Choose a restaurant with plenty of menu choices.

  • Use apps like HealthyOut to find healthy restaurant options or just do a quick google search for healthy, local or organic restaurants around you. A good online resource is www.happycow.net

  • Go online to preview the menu, or call and ask what healthy choices they offer. Look for foods that are “lean,” “light” or “heart healthy.” Generally, gluten-free dishes tend to be on the healthier side as well.

  • If you have a gathering or celebration to go to, eat a snack before you go out. It helps, believe me. Do not wait until you are starving, you will end up overeating.

We are always creating, whether that be something desirable or undesirable.  Have you ever had a day where everything just seemed to go wrong?  You get stuck in traffic and show up late for a meeting.  Then, that meeting just goes completely south.  From there, you go order some lunch and they mix up your order. And on and on....

Where did the chaos start?  With you and your thoughts.  There was something within  you that created that reality.  So, let's work with this!  This is really good news because it means that at anytime, you can CHOOSE to create something different.  But it's a choice and takes effort and intention to choose a more aligned and higher vibration.

How does one do this?  Let's start with imagining what it is you really want....

Forget the HOW.  Just imagine the thing you would like to have a bigger experience of.  See it, feel it, touch it.  Engage every sense in it.  Now, here is the important part.  You must truly believe that...
