Wet Socks

Wet Socks treatments are useful to boost the immune system, enhance circulation and stimulate the vital force to overcome illness.  It is especially useful at the onset of an illness, particularly a head cold, sinus infection, sore throat, cough, or headache.  Congestion is decreased as the blood goes down to the feet to warm them up.

Supplies:

one pair cotton socks

one pair wool socks

Directions:

Place the cotton socks in ice-cold water.  Wring them out.  Put on feet before going to bed.  Cover them with the pair of dry wool socks.  Make sure the bed is warm.

In the morning, both pairs of socks will be dry and you will feel better.  You can repeat this for several nights if needed.
